On Monday, 26 June 2017 Greg Smith will present a hands-on and practical Health & Safety Seminar at Nexus Law Group’s Sydney office (Level 2, 6 Bridge Street).

This one-day workshop will guide participants the correct procedures when developing an assurance program for workplace hazards and a framework to show if the organisation is managing the hazard to a “reasonably practicable” level.

Greg is an international award winning author and qualified lawyer with a wealth of experience in safety and health management. For over two decades, Greg has helped clients to understand their responsibility for safety and health and develop processes to implement those responsibilities.

Apart from being a legal specialist, Greg has also worked as the Principal Safety Advisor for a major oil company where he was responsible for the ongoing development and implementation of the organisation’s global safety management strategy. He also taught the Accident Prevention unit at Curtin University in Western Australia.

Greg is the author of Management Obligations for Safety and Health, co-author of Risky Conversations: The Law, Social Psychology and Risk and editor of Contractor Safety Management, which won the 2014 World Safety Organisation Educational Award.
