Jacqueline’s role at Nexus sees her acting as the main point of support for lawyers from the time of their initial interest through the on-boarding process and then working with them on an ongoing basis once they have joined the team.
Jacqueline grew up in the Hunter, qualified in Sydney and worked for many years as a lawyer with mid and top-tier firms. She enjoyed practice but an international move meant a change in direction and a move into the world of legal recruitment. As a recruitment consultant Jacqueline spent 14 years living and working in Asia, Europe and Australia. She enjoyed this role and was genuinely passionate about helping lawyers to structure their career and realise their professional and personal aspirations.
As a recruiter, much of Jacqueline’s time was spent working with lawyers who were struggling to find their niche. She came to understand that – while the profession offers some great opportunities to some people – there are many lawyers who are looking for an alternative. It was this search for something different which led to her joining our team at Nexus.
